"The Greater Blue Mountains was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2000 and was one of 15 World Heritage places included in the National Heritage List on 21 May 2007. The Blue Mountains is densely populated by oil bearing Eucalyptus trees. The atmosphere is filled with finely dispersed droplets of oil, which, in combination with dust particles and water vapour, scatter short-wave length rays of light which are predominantly blue in colour..."
Happy to be with these two lovely Toby's family members, to Blue Mountain in this beautiful day. Even though it is harsh, they never complain.

Katoomba Station
We take Blue Mountain Line, depart Central Station at 08:30, arrive Katoomba Station at 10:30. Katoomba is such a lovely small town!
As we haven't done much homework, quite confused how to ahead Blue Mountain, just follow the crowd taking Bus 686G, geting off at Echo Point ^_^!
BTW, I misestimate that I have used Opal card 8 times this week, it costs me $10 fare>_<

Three Sisters
The Legend of Three Sisters
"The Aboriginal dream-time legend has it that three sisters, 'Meehni', 'Wimlah' and Gunnedoo' lived in the Jamison Valley as members of the Katoomba tribe. These beautiful young ladies had fallen in love with three brothers from the Nepean tribe, yet tribal law forbade them to marry. The brothers were not happy to accept this law and so decided to use force to capture the three sisters causing a major tribal battle. As the lives of the three sisters were seriously in danger, a witchdoctor from the Katoomba tribe took it upon himself to turn the three sisters into stone to protect them from any harm. While he had intended to reverse the spell when the battle was over, the witchdoctor himself was killed. As only he could reverse the spell to return the ladies to their former beauty, the sisters remain in their magnificent rock formation as a reminder of this battle for generations to come..."

Scenic World
Then we take Bus 686 to Skyway Station. To my shock, we cannot buy ticket here, have to go to Scenic World on the other side!!!
We inquire the beautiful staff, she replies us by walk for 20mins / wait for bus for 25mins. And we determine by walk.
BTW, she is quite interesting that she always replies us immediately with "FANTASTIC"!!!
We take a break at the waterfall.
Arrive Scenic World finally orz
Steam Clock, cannot understand how it work@@
It starts raining, we are struggling whether continue or visit Blue Mountain again tomorrow.
The staff suggests the routine to us: Skyway <> Cableway > Railway
She also informs the last ride NOT 16:50 today
However
She doesn't inform us one thing IMPORTANT......

Skyway
We wait for 30mins and take the ride finally. It is marvellous to have panoramic view of Blue Mountain, in the shower.

Then we take an adventure in the rain forest. Fern and tree are standing tall, some with external vertical water vines. It is amazing!!!
If you sit on this seat and lean backwards, you will drop your hat...
