OHAYO~ Last day of the trip, we revisit Kaminari Gaten / Sensoji Temple in the early morning~ As it was raining and crowded with visitors on the first day, no mood to take photo. In the early morning, it is quite and peaceful here. The temple seems exceptionally sacred. The cherry blossom is beautiful in sunrise.
Kaminari Gate (Furai Shrine Gate)
It is believed that God of Wind and Thunder were enshrined within. At first, they were to guard the temple. They were worshipped with the goal of guarding against destruction from storm, flood and fire. They were seen as a kind of benevolent deity. Then it is surmised that the worship was for peace and tranquility, and abundant crop.

Founded in 628, Sensoji Temple is the oldest temple in Tokyo. Many people believe that the Asakusa Kannon deity enshrined here has the ability to bestow benefits on earth.
